Reservations and Booking Policy
Reservations must be made in advance, before your arrival to our premises. Quotations for accommodation will be based on availability as at the date and time of quoting. After quoting you will receive your booking confirmation email, with all the relevant information on your booking, the rate, the check in and checkout policy. Where a down payment is required to secure your reservation, you will not receive a booking confirmation until your deposit has been received. A minimum 3-night-stay policy is applied. In order to reserve you are required to be at least 18 years old.
Deposit and Payment
Οur rates include VAT. Full payment via credit/debit card is required at the time of your reservation.
Extra charges for additional services shall be available at the accommodation. Our payment may be proven only in writing, via a statement of deposit or a receipt of payment.
Guests are responsible for reimbursement in case of any damage to the property during their stay. It is advisable to take out travel insurance to have full cover for personal belongings and personal accident cover; we are not responsible for either. Should this damage come to light after the guests have departed, we reserve our right to make a charge to the guest's credit/ debit card. We furthermore reserve our right to charge your credit/debit card with the cost of replacing any item that has been removed from the apartment without our consent.
Cancelation/ No show Policy
Any cancelation requests must be made in writing or email. If you cancel your reservation at least 14 days before your arrival, you will not be If you cancel on the date within the 13 days before your arrival or in case of no show or if you depart earlier, you are still obliged to pay the full amount of your reservation. In case of no show, we reserve the right to let the accommodation you have booked the day after your set arrival.
Modifications to any reservations must be made in writing.
We reserve the right to reject such modification requests according to our apartments' availability. No modifications can be made to non-refundable reservations.
No amendments are guaranteed until you receive a written confirmation of the amended reservation.
Please bear in mind that the charged rates may differ from your initial booking. The same rates apply, as set by the time of the modification.

We may accept an early check in or a late checkout based on our availability. If you wish an early check in (before 15.00 hours) we advise you to reserve the accommodation the night prior to the date of arrival. Late check out without prior notice, may result in extra charges.
Upon arrival you may be asked to provide proof of identity and/or other personal information according to local laws, regarding your contact, place of residence etc.
The apartment is provided to you with clean linen, towels, blankets and pillow cases. Free cleaning and changing of clothing and towels is provided every 3 days, except otherwise stated in your booking confirmation email.
Extra cleaning may be requested and provided on extra charges.
Children policy and accommodation
Children and infants of all ages are accepted to the premises. Guests are not allowed to leave their minors unattended within our premises. The guests acknowledge that Volta Suites and Villas provide no children surveillance services and/or special facilities for children. Volta Suites and Villas bear no obligation to apply special measures for the safety of minors.
Noise disturbance/ Silent Hours
Our apartments are built within the holiday residential area of Gouves and we at Volta Suites and Villas do our best to respect the privacy and quietness of our guests and neighbors. Therefore we ask our guests to keep the noise levels within reasonable limits. Guests are allowed to play music within closed doors, but to acceptable levels. Guests are also requested to respect the pool hours 9.00-21.00. Extreme cases of noise disturbance may result in the guests' eviction. In case of eviction the guests are entitled to pay the full amount of their reservation.
Outdoor fitness area use
The use of our outdoor fitness area is provided to our guests free of any charge. All guests using the facilities of the fitness area do so entirely at their own risk and without any supervision from our part. Guests are entirely responsible to determine whether they are medically and physically able to use the facilities. By using the equipment, guests accept all responsibility for their health and any results, injury or mishaps that may affect their health in any way which may occur as a result of their use of any exercise equipment. Also guests are also responsible for the supervision of their children and persons under supervisory obligation. We are not liable for any injuries and / or damages incurred by the users of the outdoor fitness area.
Our premises have access to shared pool facilities. The pool is neither gated nor guarded and it is a major condition of this reservation that your usage of the rental property and the pool is entirely at your own risk. Guests are specifically requested not to allow unsupervised children or adult non-swimmers to use the pool or use breakable materials in or around the pool.
All of our apartments are non-smoking apartments. Smoking is only permitted outdoors. Cigarette stubs and smell are considered property damages.
The use of other narcotics and or psychotropic substances is also prohibited. If such use is suspected to occur, we are entitled to contact the local police department.
As there have been no special arrangements for pets, pets are not allowed in our premises, except from guide-dogs.
Lost and Found
Lost property, if found, will be returned upon request. However we at (Brand Name) bear no responsibility for lost items. Lost and found times are retained for a 3-month-period before being considered unclaimed and being discarded.
We imply a non discrimination policy and we not discriminate on the grounds of race, religion, color, sex, self-identification, age, ethnic origin and/or nationality, disability etc. Although, there have not been any special arrangements and configurations for people with disabilities in our apartments, we are here to accommodate you and make your stay as comfortable as possible. Should any inappropriate behavior by one of our guests come to our attention, we reserve our right to take any lawful action against the said guest and to immediately evict him/her. In case of such eviction, the guests are entitled to pay the full amount of their reservation.
Our premises have parking amenities. Availability depends on the number of our residents. We are not responsible for any accident or theft or any other damage which may happen during the use of our parking premises.
We are able to store your personal items (luggage etc.) before your check in and/or after your check out, during reception hours, without any liability for loss, damage or theft.
We are responsible for providing the services listed on our website www.voltastay.com . We cannot guarantee that all the services and items listed on our website will be functional at all times, however all endeavors will be made to rectify any problems as soon as we possibly can. We reserve the right without prior notice to withdraw any part or all of the facilities available, and to make such changes as may be necessary.
Applicable Laws and Jurisdiction
For any dispute arising from your reservation or your stay in our premises, Greek Laws shall be applicable and the Courts of Heraklion will be competent.
